Compressed Air System should consist of air compressors with electric motors, electrical switch gear and automatic control system of following specifications:
a) Air Compressor of non-lubricated type with Oil-free and air cooled system at pressure of 8.5 kg/cm2.
b) Electric motor as driver unit with a synchronous speed of 1440 rpm consuming 3 phase electricity supply of 440 volt at 50 Hz frequency.
c) Starter Star/Delta control & switchgear with overload protection including making PCC(Plain Cement Concrete) foundation, fixing with bolts and anti vibration pad.
Desiccant Air Dryer UL Certified Microprocessor Controller with dewpoint based changeover option, Pre-filter rating 0.3 microns, Shuttle valve for Low Pressure drop, All Aluminum resist oxidation & scale formation, dewpoint better than -40 degree C.
Compressed air filtration system: One set of 3 - stage filter The filters should be made of die cast aluminums housing with epoxy power paint on the outside and anodized surface treatment inside to prevent corrosion and ensure extra long life. The filters should have maximum contaminant removal efficiency with minimum pressure drop.
Total 3-stage of filters should be used as mentioned below:-
Stage 1 : coalescing filters for general-purpose protection, removing liquid water and oil aerosol to 0.1 mg/cum. (0.1 pm) and particles down to 5 micron.
Stage 2 : particular filter for dust protection, removing particles down to one micron.
Stage 3 : high efficiency coalescing filters, removing liquid water and oil aerosol to 0.01 mg/m3 (0.01 pip) and particles down to 0.01 micron.
