Medical Gas Outlet are designed to provide immediate supply of medical gases and vacuum at such points of use as hospital operating rooms, emergency rooms, intensive care and patient wards. Moreover, in non-hospital based facilities where a convenient source of medical gases and additional services are required.
Pressure gas system are normally designed to deliver 52-60 psig to all outlets with the exception of Nirtogen normally being 150-180 psig. Vacuum systems should be maintained at minimum 12-15" Hg at terminal system farthest away from the vacuum pump.
